Title role and house debut in 'Manon Lescaut' at Teatro Verdi di Salerno

Jennifer Rowley makes her highly anticipated title role and house debut as Puccini’s Manon Lescaut at Teatro Verdi di Salerno on April 14 and 16. Premiering Pierfrancesco Maestrini’s elegant production at the theater for the first time, Ms. Rowley takes on the irresistible role of Manon Lescaut, the headstrong young woman torn between a life of luxury and her true love the Chevalier des Grieux, sung by Riccardo Massi. Daniel Oren conducts.
