On July 8, Jennifer Rowley sings the title role in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Bravo! Vail Music Festival. Under the baton of Fabio Luisi, she is joined by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and an exhilarating cast of singers, including Evan LeRoy Johnson as B.F. Pinkerton, Manuela Custer as Suzuki, Alessandro Luongo as Sharpless, Keith Jameson as Goro, Kidon Choi as Prince Yamadori and the Bonze, Hanyi Lu as Dolore, and the Bravo! Vail Festival Chorus.
The soprano previously performed the role this past January in a staged concert production with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.
