On March 8, 26, and 28 Jennifer Rowley makes a thrilling role debut as Puccini’s Turandot, appearing for the first time at Florida Grand Opera! It’s a highly-anticipated debut for the soprano, who has already sung many of Puccini’s most beloved heroines, including the title roles in Madama Butterfly and Tosca.
Rowley joins an all star cast in Bliss Hebert’s production, under the baton of Jonathan Brandani and directed by Jeffrey Buchman. Dominick Valdés Chenes sings Calaf, with Yulan Piao as Liu, Adam Lau as Timur, Raymond Diaz as Ping, James Mancuso as Pang, and Levi Adkins as Pong.
Rowley performs on March 8 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and on March 26 and 28 at Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.
