‘Madama Butterfly’ with the Dallas Symphony

On January 9 and 11, Jennifer Rowley brings her vivid portrayal of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly to the Dallas Symphony, performing the opera in concert under the baton of Fabio Luisi.

Ms. Rowley has previously bowed in this iconic role at the Teatro Carlo Felice (Genoa), Opera Naples, and Palm Beach Opera, where her debut performance “exuded vulnerability”(South Florida Classical Review) and she “sang with feeling and conviction, sailing through her high notes and blossoming in the second act” (Palm Beach Daily News).

Ms. Rowley will perform alongside a start-studded cast, with Evan Leroy Johnson sings B.F. Pinkerton, with Manuela Custer as Suzuki, Alessandro Luongo as Sharpless, and Keith Jameson as Goro.
