'Tosca' at Semperoper Dresden and with the Israel Philharmonic

Praised for her “profound and comprehensive interpretation” (Schmopera) of the titular Tosca, this month, Jennifer Rowley brings her “showstopping” (Opera Today) portrayal to the Semperoper Dresden and on tour with the Israel Philharmonic and Zubin Mehta.

On February 12 at the Semperoper Dresden, Pietro Rizzo conducts the Sächsischer Staatsopernchor Dresden and the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden in a concert version of Puccini’s work. Ms. Rowley will star alongside Dmytro Popov as Cavaradossi, Quinn Kelsey as Scarpia, Lawson Anderson as Angelotti, Tilmann Rönnebeck as Der Mesner, Gerald Hupach as Spoletta, Ilya Silchuk as Sciarrone, and Rupert Grössinger as Ein Schließer.

Following this, Ms. Rowley joins Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic for Tosca, beginning on February 24 & 26 at Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv. Further performances include February 28 at Rappaport Hall in Haifa and March 3 & 5 at Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv. Joining her on stage is Jorge de León as Cavaradossi and Devid Cecconi as Scarpia.
