Jennifer Rowley begins her 2019/20 season headlining the title role of Puccini’s Tosca, a signature role for the star soprano, at the Opera San Antonio. On September 12 & 14 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, Ms. Rowley performs alongside Rafael Davila as Cavaradossi and Michael Chioldi as Scarpia. Francesco Milioto is set to conduct the production by E. Loren Meeker.
Ms. Rowley will reprise the role later this season at the Metropolitan Opera, where she has previously been lauded by Operawire stating “Jennifer Rowley Triumphs in Glimmering Production.” In addition to performing the title role at the Metropolitan Opera, Rowley has performed Tosca with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Seoul Arts Center, Nashville Opera, and Finger Lakes Opera.
