OPERA San Antonio is thrilled to welcome internationally acclaimed soprano Jennifer Rowley to San Antonio from June 16 through June 18 for a special three-day residency, made possible through the Margaret King Stanley Vocal Scholarship Fund in partnership with OPERA San Antonio and Austin Opera.
During her residency, Rowley will lead workshops and masterclasses for a select group of singers, focusing on audition technique, repertoire selection, professional presentation, and career development.
The public masterclass takes place on June 18 at 6:30 p.m. and features six outstanding young artists selected by OPERA San Antonio and Austin Opera. The participants will perform and receive live coaching on vocal technique, dramatic interpretation, and stage presence, offering audience members unique insight into the professional rehearsal process and what it takes to build an operatic career.
