Jennifer Rowley performs highlights from Verdi’s Macbeth at the Graves Mountain Music Festival as part of its Symphonic Showcase on June 21. She is joined by bass Raymond Diaz under the baton of Joe Illick.
Rowley recently debuted as Lady Macbeth at the Teatro Carlo Felice, where she “delivered a remarkable performance… thanks to a bright and penetrating timbre, a solid and sharp upper register, and a first-rate vocal technique.” (L’Opera Diary) Opera Libera similarly praised the soprano for “displaying the perfect balance between registers, from rounded, resonant mids to luminous, easily projected highs.”
The performance begins at 4pm at the Picnic Pavilions at Graves Mountain Farm.
