‘Italian Opera Favorites’ with Andrea Bocelli at The Metropolitan Opera

On October 5, Jennifer Rowley returns to The Metropolitan Opera, singing a special one-night-only program of Italian Opera Favorites alongside superstar tenor Andrea Bocelli.

She will share the stage with Bocelli in a duet from Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, and will also perform a selection from the composer’s Manon Lescaut. Juliana Grigoryan, Federica Lombardi, and Edward Parks will also appear as guest artists.

This is Rowley’s first appearance at The Met since her star turn as Adriana Lecouvreur, a performance that prompted Operawire to compliment her “resplendent beauty packaged with pitch-perfect polish.” Rowley has performed at The Met in multiple other productions, including Cyrano de Bergerac, Il Trovatore, Tosca, and La bohème.
