Internationally-celebrated soprano Jennifer Rowley returns to Teatro Lirico di Cagliari in the title role of Verdi’s monumental Aida this July, with performances on July 11, 13, 16, 18, and 20, 2025.
Renowned for her unforgettable voice and commanding stage presence, Ms. Rowley continues her 2024/2025 season with this signature role, following critically lauded performances of Aida across Europe and the Americas. In a review from Platea Magazine, her portrayal was praised for its expressive depth and technical refinement: “Jennifer Rowley was a worthy Aida; […] her phrasing, breathing management, expressive force in the high notes and subtlety at important moments such as the first act (‘Numi, pietà’) were her best weapons. In short, with a well-maintained middle voice and intelligent management of the tragic character, she completed a great debut in the theater.”
She joins an incredible international cast in Franco Zeffirelli’s iconic production, led by conductor Gianluca Marcianò. Ms. Rowley will perform alongside Enkelejda Shkoza as Amneris, Antonello Palombi as Radamès, George Andguladze as Ramfis, and Devid Cecconi as Amonasro.
