Beethoven’s 'Missa Solemnis' with The Philadelphia Orchestra

This April, Jennifer Rowley will appear as the soprano soloist in Beethoven’s masterful Missa Solemnis with The Philadelphia Orchestra in Philadelphia and New York City.

Under the baton of the world renowned conductor and music director of the orchestra, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, the quartet of soloists will be rounded out with mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill, tenor Rodrick Dixon and bass-baritone Eric Owens.

Performances at the Verizon Hall in Philadelphia will take place on April 7, 9 and 10 and will feature an innovative visual installation by Refik Anadol that uses artificial intelligence to ‘react’ to the music and create breathtaking virtual architecture.

A standard performance of the Mass will be presented at Carnegie Hall on April 8.
