“A Night at the Opera” with the Classical Tahoe Orchestra

For her last engagement of the season, Jennifer Rowley visits Lake Tahoe for Classical Tahoe’s “A Night at the Opera” concert with the Classical Tahoe Orchestra. Jennifer will be debuting new repertoire for the concert program: Verdi’s “Ritorna Vincitor” from Aida, and Verdi’s “Ecco lorrido campo” from Un ballo in maschera. Next season, Ms. Rowley will make two highly anticipated role and house debuts at the National Theatre Prague as Amelia from Un ballo in maschera, and then at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona in the title role of Aida.

She will also perform arias from two of her signature roles: Verdi’s “Tacea la notte placida” from Il trovatore, and Puccini’s “Vissi d’arte” from Tosca. In 2020, Jennifer returns to the Metropolitan Opera to star as Tosca in David McVicar’s stunning production. Completing the program, the Classical Tahoe Orchestra will perform Verdi’s Overture to La Forza del Destino, Tchaikovsky’s Polonaise and Waltz from Eugene Onegin, and Verdi’s String Quartet in E minor.
