'Il Trovatore' at The Metropolitan Opera
Second Met engagement in the 2017/18 season
Jennifer Rowley will sing the role of Leonora in all performances of The Metropolitan Opera’s production of Verdi’s Il Trovatore opening January 22 and continuing through February 15. Ms. Rowley has previously starred in the role with the Théâtre de Caen, Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, and Opéra de Lille.
The Metropolitan Opera's production of Il Trovatore, directed by Sir David McVicar and conducted by Marco Armiliato, features a cast including Yonghoon Lee as Manrico, Anita Rachvelishvili as Azucena, and Quinn Kelsey and Luca Salsi sharing the role of Conte di Luna, with Štefan Kocán and Kwangchul Youn as Ferrando. Dolora Zajick will sing the role of Azucena on February 6.
